He doesn’t care about the Covid-19 epidemic; it’s boring; he doesn’t really care about the events in Minnesota, except to use the tragedy as a platform to spew racist and white nationalist venom to solidify his base support. His survival instincts tell him he has to win the next election or face investigations and, quite likely prosecutions. He will bend his entire will to this effort and get more and more desperate, more and more mad, with each failure to gain traction in the polls. He will very likely go out of his way to purposefully inflame already tense situations like domestic unrest and international issues, such as with China, if, in his mind, such inflammatory actions will solidify his popular support. Each action will be incrementally more mad than the previous as long as he is failing.

Trademarks. Ivanka rec’d trademarks on 16 products from China (fashions, coffins, sausage casings, and voting machines) in late 2018. She reportedly shut down her business to concentrate on the wonderful happenings in WH (announced July 2018), but would retain the trademarks.
Nothing like an ethical family business transaction or 16 when you are Pres and dealing with a foreign power. (and trump wants Hunter Biden investigated for China dealings… sheesh)

The thing I keep going back to is that if he had listened to the experts in the beginning of the pandemic and done what everyone said needed to be done to prepare (shutdown the country, employed the Production Act to make PPE and such, implemented robust testing, etc.) none of this would be happening to us and he wouldn’t have to worry about mail in voting. Had he successfully handled the pandemic he would at worst be looking at a very close race. He listened only to his fool self and screwed up the response just about as badly as possible. I hope that after he loses some reporter comes out and says it to his face. “You did this to yourself.”

I’m not so sure. He definitely has survival instincts that kick in, and has worries, and he acts impulsively, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that he has no or few signs of GAD.

Yes! And each action will cause more harm to his reelection bid than the previous. By October, he’ll just be threatening voters by claiming that not voting for him will result in criminal charges.
