The Intercept has identified the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who shot and killed an observer in a residential neighborhood of Minneapolis on Wednesday as Jonathan Ross, a deportation officer based out of the agency’s field office in St. Paul.
Ross, 43, fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good during a confrontation between protesters and federal agents — ICE and Border Patrol — in the Central neighborhood just after 9:30 a.m.

A “Cop” just shot someone, and then they just leave the scene of the shooting???
Shot for no reason, because driving away is a capital offense now?
She didn’t try to run the asshole over, she didn’t swerve or peel out, she just tried to leave because some asshole was trying to get into her car, no talk to the driver, just grab the door and then the other guy shoots her for driving away. That’s an execution of a woman who tried to get out of a immigration action of some sort.
Every person involved in this should be detained and charged with accessory to murder at the least for letting the perp just drive away, with destroying evidence, violating a crime scene integrity.
It must be said: I’ve never been more wrong. This guy seems like an archetypal ICE thug though not much is known about him other than a long career in khakis and camo. And, if I got this right, he began his career in the Indiana National Guard. I will henceforth never try to parse an ICE thug in writing. This I do affirm.
