Trump Not Expected To Send Lawyer To Impeachment Hearings

Or another way to put this article, tRump couldn’t find anyone to volunteer to defend him this time around. It’s basically a reputation-killer.

If Nadler has been paying attention to Schiff for the last 2 weeks, this wouldn’t work. Do they give Oscars for the “Best Shutting Down of Persons Intent on Derailing the Proceedings”? Schiff gave a master class in how to keep the proceedings on the rails. Nadler should aspire to do as well.

Watch the SOB scream that he has been denied an opportunity to cross examine witnesses or to present evidence. The news media will dutifully report it and his base will have something to feel slighted about.

Jesus! If I want RW talking points, I’ll go to RW websites. Come on, TPM!

So Mike Pence demands impeachment?? Oh, sorry. It’s from the way back in 1999.

OK, dumbass. Don’t whine (not possible, I lnow) when things happen that you don’t like.

I’ll have all of you know Matt Gaetz knows a ton about the justice system since his encounter with the law regarding drunk driving. His very clever defense in House Judiciary will involve asking Trump’s daddy to make a couple of calls and, ahem, donations.

exactly. While Trump’s lawyers would be subject to the chair’s restrictions on questions, no such restrictions were placed on the committee members, or committee counsel. And that is a problem – because we’re going to see even more lies, disinformation, and distraction from the GOPers on Judiciary than we will from those on Intel.

And given that there will be no fact witnesses – at least at the hearings that have been scheduled – the Dec 4 hearing is almost certain to be one giant clusterfuck.

In fact, I can’t imagine why any historian or impeachment expert would want to appear in front of the committee, considering how little each will get a chance to contribute (most of these panels have 4 or more members) versus the amount of idiocy they will have to sit through.

At $800-1000 an hour, I’d let them be VERY tiresome.

I’m assuming the Mad Dog PAC is holding those billboards until impeachment is on the way to the senate.

Well, they were younger and more innocent then.

Classic!

They went from young and stupid to old and corrupt, with not a grace-note to be found betwixt.
