Trump Learned Of Whistleblower Before Released Ukraine Aid

President Donald Trump learned of the whistleblower’s complaint in late August, just before he released the frozen military aid to Ukraine in September.

Trump reportedly flew into a rage when Johnson asked if the money’s release was dependent upon some action of Ukraine’s.

Is the tell that that is exactly why tRUmp withheld the aid.

It is unclear how many details Trump was given about the complaint.

Since it was Barr handling you can be assured that, Trump was given al the details that he wanted including the identity.

“‘No way,’” Mr. Trump said, per Johnson. “‘I would never do that. Who told you that?’”

Now that is an statement that could be written in the Bible, neither Trump or Johnson would never, ever lie.

Of course! It’s always and forever about “The Donald” even at the expense of American national security or the security of an ally. The aid to Ukraine was to donnie just leverage to personal gain and nothing more. Which just happens to be the definition of corruption.
Some life lesson for young Barron to see his father acting like a thug and stepping on his dick in the process.

“What did the president know and when did he know it”. Trump 2019

I’ve heard that somewhere before… Howard Baker, Watergate Hearings, 1973…

What does “just before” mean? If he learned of the complaint 20 minutes before the aid was released, then he had probably decided to do that before he heard about the whistleblower. If he learned the day before, then the knowledge probably prompted him to do it.

Or, today, “What did the president know, and when did he lie about it?”

I think it might have been as early as 1-2 weeks before.

That’s hardly “just” before.

I’m trying to remember if it came out of, or was inferred from, the Mark Sandy testimony. I’ll have to check.

Well, Mike Schmidt says two weeks. For whatever that’s worth.

OF COURSE this lying piece of trash knew about it. And YES. He released the aid because he KNEW he had been caught red handed. He is now out INSISTING DAMMIT that Rudy went over there ‘just because’ and he, Donnie, ‘did not direct him’ even thought the transcript that HE released shows he DID. He is a sociopath. Period.

Agree that the headline, as written, is confusing and doesn’t convey the likely (certain?) chain-of-events. TPM should revise it to:

Trump Released Ukraine Aid Shortly After Learning Of Whistleblower Complaint

Volume of lies = likelihood of more lies

The potted plant had no chance of being anything other than a Trump.

His parents are lying crooks and he’s in their full control.

Statisticians should have a field day calculating the probability of lies based on the number of lies. Eventually given enough data, a formula will be devised. and the Trump Lying Constant will finally be calculated.

This is useful because then the Trump Lying Coefficient can then be determined and applied to anything he says.

Or just take it as a given that everything he says is a lie.

And this is a surprise to who exactly? President mistake-in-the-gene-pool knows what happened and has spent an inordinate amount of his daily TV and Twitter time trying to disprove the original shakedown. He knew the whistleblower complaint would lead to investigations he didn’t want.

“Perfect” timing! Just a coincidence!

This just confirms what we already knew. The only reason the aid was freed up was they got caught.
