This is also just in: He can’t appeal the judge’s scheduling order. https://t.co/ZLLMi2XzpR

“I will APPEAL!”
Sorry Tangeranus, but you are that appealing.
“C’mon, your honor. The only thing tighter than my suit is my argument! Booyah!”
How do y’all do the hidden thingie with the sideways caret?
Prithee, your honor, what is this “search engine” that thou speakest of?
Are you asking for a cat scan?
FIFY!
He’s right there between the giant panda and the albino alligator.
Truth Social is “bootleg”. Bwahahaha!
Here's how...
Ask someone who knows.
Upper right corner (hint)
Ultimately the judge did not grant either side’s request,
While this may technically be true, I’d argue the judge sided with the prosecution. 2 months vs. 2 years makes that clear. Moreover, I’d argue the prosecution never really expected a trial date of January 2, 2024, and March, 2024 is pretty much in line with their expectations.
Good God! Don’t any of these guys own a decent suit?
Trump’s vicious and dangerous attacks on Jack Smith and his lawyers on Untruth Social are excellent example of why a short time frame is essential. Add on to that Trump’s spokesmodel and TV lawyer Alina Habba claiming he’s ready for trial now, and the judge had no choice.
Trump was warned that his thuggish bullying would lead to a short schedule. He’s getting his just desserts.
Lauro argued that the prosecution’s entire case is political and told Chutkan that the defense may allege that the charges were brought in “retaliation” for Trump and his allies’ attacks on and investigations into the President’s son, Hunter Biden.
Bless yer cold, shriveled up little heart with that
defense.
When working for a wannabe mob boss, you have to follow the “Wannabe Mob” rules. Among them: Don’t dress better than the wannabe boss.
It’s a good thing I wasn’t in the courtroom, because I doubt I could have suppressed my giggle fits at Lauro’s histrionics.
