Will the Society for the Rule of Law do any better than the Lincoln Project?

They’re ahead of Trump in all the right polls.

I am dreading another NYT analysis based on their polling of 6 battleground states, in which the margin of error for each state poll ranges from 4.2% to 4.6% and yet the combined results miraculously only have a margin of error of 1.2%.

“Society for Rule of Law” sounds really Orwellian.

Famed investor Peter Schiff says that married women in the workforce are partly to blame for the country’s housing crisis — and he was blasted for it. Here’s his explanation (msn.com)
Famed investor Peter Schiff has landed in hot water after he listed “married women entering the workforce” as a cause of today’s housing crisis.
Schiff went on to write: “40 years of falling mortgage rates, plus married women entering the workforce, allowed home prices to rise much faster than incomes.”

I think yesterday’s performance will persuade all of the lawyers in the upcoming criminal trials to do everything they can to keep Trump from testifying. If they needed any help figuring that one out.

And Kise stroking Trump’s ego and saying it was the best testimony he’s ever seen a witness give was just cringe-worthy.

Domo arigato, Mr. Gelato. Domo!
Secret, secret, he’s got a secret.
He is the modern man.
Who hides behind a mask.
So no one else can see.
His true identity!

At the polls in Northern Virginia bright and early today. Turnout seemed quite heavy for an off-year election with no one on the ballot higher in rank than a state senator.

I’m hoping that’s a good sign. For decades now, the GOP/Christo-fascist strategy has been to get fanatics into the political system who would be unelectable in a high-publicity race by having them run for school board. These elections are typically low turnout (meaning complacent Dems don’t vote, but Christo-fascist zealots do), and usually are nonpartisan, meaning there is no party label attached to the candidate, which further confuses the issue.

Getting on the school board was Michele Bachmann’s ticket to ride, and her eventual congressional gig was the incubator of Stephen Miller’s career in government.

So these piddling local elections MATTER.

OnPolitics: All eyes on Mississippi’s governor’s race ahead of 2024 (msn.com)
Democrats looking to regain long-lost political ground in the South have a unique opportunity this week: In Mississippi, of all places, USA TODAY’s David Jackson reports.

:red_circle: A GOP stronghold? Democratic gubernatorial candidate Brandon Presley is making a surprisingly strong run at incumbent GOP Gov. Tate Reeves in one of the most Republican states in the nation, much less the South.

Bear in mind that It’s a conservative group that’s forming it.

If what you say is true, I love it. But I’m quite ready to move past this flailing like a chicken stage to final stage self-destruction. I wonder if it’ll be like that tape in the beginning of Mission Impossible, the television show.

We’ll never know for sure, but the general trend is that this black hole galaxy will probably merge with another neighbor to form a big blob, an elliptical or diffuse galaxy with the black hole at the center. That will happen when our neighboring Andromeda galaxy merges with our Milky Way galaxy, currently speeding towards us at 186 miles per second. Since the light from this black hole is 12 billion years old, it could be a blobby elliptical galaxy by now.

Later on, as the overall expansion of space pushes these close merging events farther apart, the surrounding stars burn out and the black hole slowly evaporates as it enters the heat death phase of the universe. The current theory of an ever-expanding heat death universe is pretty depressing. I need another cup of coffee and a kitty photo.
