Mr. Trump’s unnatural obsession with his predecessor is something to behold. That alone should be cause to invoke the 25th amendment. But, then again, you’d get Mr. Pence…which could be almost as problematic.

Chump only sees the world through his TV/bullhorn lens. That is how he thinks all HIS people get their news and views. He acknowledges print media and has rudimentarily latched onto Twitter like a fungus. Twitter is like cocaine to him. Not because of it’s tech platform or because he grasps so many of social media’s nuances. It is just a bullhorn, and he grabbed it and like grim death will not let go.
Why? Not deflection. Not even projection. Mainly with media he just needs to beat every other message into the mud except his own. He needs to say 100 times that Russia was a hoax for every time REAL details come out about it. And he needs to keep doing it YEARS after it stopped being in the news often. Same for every other real piece of data he doesn’t like. Comey, Flynn, Wikileaks, Impeachment, etc. He is just in a bullhorn and numbers game. Can he bray louder than the counter message? Can he say YOU’RE THE PUPPET 100 times for every time he is called a puppet? We tend to think of Nazi’s Big Lie or Orwell’s Doublespeak…Chump doesn’t even have that kind of sophistication. He is attempting to bludgeon truth right before our eyes. He keeps bringing up things the stoopid American Public has already forgotten about like Flynn and Kislyak because he cannot stop trying to replace truth and reality with his own concoctions.

I don’t understand why Dems and media figures don’t call him out as a lunatic more often and more openly. What is it about our culture that insists on such misplaced civility? Why are we expected to be so nice, to people who don’t merit it? No need to drop down to his level. Just call him out as the lunatic imbecile he so clearly is and which anyone who doesn’t instinctively see this makes them an imbecile too. When are we going to stop being so nice to these fuckwads? And no, I don’t fear their guns.

I think that, like with Palin, this continued time in the spotlight makes them continue to look awful.
Trump will overplay his hand as always.
I think as long as Trump is quiet, The Biden/Harris administration (she’s the best VP pick) will leave his past misdeeds quiet. As Trump doesn’t have that self control, there will be political room to make an example.

There is a lot of understandable denial in the land. It’s tough to confront the thought the President is not well, if not insane.
Say you’re on a plane plummeting to earth. Nothing wrong with the plane, it’s the pilot that’s driving it downward. The cockpit is locked, so you’re unable to affect his actions. Sitting in your seat shouting the pilot is crazy does no good, no one wants to believe impact is imminent, preferring to think the pilot will regain his senses. You sit there fearing you’ll just needlessly induce panic among the passengers by pointing out the obvious. Certainly they all see it. What can any of you do? The cockpit door cannot be breached. You’re just along for the ride.
Oh, the airline does allow passengers to vote for a new pilot. Except, you know, you can’t vote for 6 months. And that cornfield is looming larger by the second…
