That sounds about right. He’s the last person you’d enter into a conspiracy with; he’s perfectly capable of bragging about it on national TV and it wouldn’t be the first time. This is being paid for and promulgated by oligarchs here and in Russia, of course, we know that much. The knuckleheads on the street are obviously being manipulated. (There really aren’t that many of them; the goal here is an illusion of chaos.) Trump perceives it as helpful support so he jumps in feet first, as he does with anything presented as complimentary, helpful, useful etc. Obviously it’s wildly at odds with his wish to be seen as a careful, caring manager of a crisis. No previous president could conceivably behave this way. He’s being tricked into benefiting others, but it’s hugely harmful to him IMHO and there’s no way this is a plan he’s consciously part of.

The Centers for Disease Control report that here in the United States, on average , 3,536 people died from drowning annually from 2005 to 2014, which equates to 10 deaths each day. Then there are the thousands of others who suffer swimming pool -related injuries each year .

I’m not saying conspiracy, so much as blatant election strategy…planned and coordinated doesn’t require a “conspiracy” unless we’re going to admit that pretty much anything planned and coordinated could be called one.
It’s not organic, that’s for sure. It’s as astroturfed as the Teatrolls and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Faux News is in the loop with his campaign organization, PACs and the white nationalist groups organizing this silliness.
