Trump Faces Growing Calls From Biz Leaders To Concede After Legal Battles Fall Flat | Talking Points Memo

The Times also reported that some executives weighed withholding campaign donations from both Republican Georgia Senate candidates, Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) and David Perdue (R-GA), in an effort to demand that the senators push for a presidential transition.

The captains of business can protest all the want (after they got their tax breaks and regulatory rollbacks) but Admiral Trump is running the fleet into the icebergs at full speed. He will cause a second depression on his way out the door.

This could actually become fun to watch. I doubt Trump has any real interest in who controls the Senate, that’s McTurtle’s evil thing. Dumpf just wants to stay king and stay immune from prosecution, and so my bet, he won’t concede regardless of who tells him to. And that could be fun to watch if the rest of the world does move on around him. (Including Faux Emily, I’ll even bet one of Biden’s team can find an employable something for her to nibble on at her leisure, that won’t gum up everything like she’s doing at the moment.)
