Thanks for the clarification, Matt. The whole reason I even clicked on this article was because of that word in the headline. It just didn’t make sense and I had to read the story to see what the heck they meant by ‘fugue’ state.

Having played/studied the pipe organ earlier in my life, fugue has a completely different meaning for me. I’ve never seen it used outside the context of music before.
