He is creating chaos. If he loses, he will blame the rigged election. If he wins, he will claim it is because of his astute suggestions, such as voting twice. He deserves to be tried for treason, but won’t be. If his encouragement causes delays and disturbances of the votes, there may be state criminal charges that could be brought if two things happen: he loses and you have a gutsy state attorney general.

Yes. And plenty of them are Republicans. Our system is mostly one of state laws and municipal execution. These people are 99% honorable public servants, especially at the municipal level. They don’t like him casting aspersions on their honesty or telling people to break the law or cause a stir at the polls. They’re also respected by their local communities.
So the equation is outraged secretaries of state and city/town election board chairs + ambitious attorneys general.

We need to vote EVERY stinking, rotten Republican OUT of our government. We all know what trump is- it’s just the GOP doesn’t care!

BUT!
Do you know WHERE to vote in November? Some GOP officials have been moving polling places completely out of the city limits to suppress the vote, usually in areas where there is little or no public transportation. Be sure of your November 3rd polling place.
Be sure you have ENOUGH polling places. Some precincts have only one polling place for thousands of voters. We’ve all seen the lines stretching for blocks. Work to get more. Demand porta-potties in places where folks line up like this. And try to get mask/hand sanitizer stations operating at the polls on Election Day.
If you know of single or unemployed parents see if you can organize an “Election Day-care” for those who need that to go vote.
Be sure you even CAN vote in person. Some states have been purging voters who are inactive. Be sure your name wasn’t purged from the rolls.
Help your neighbors vote. Some backwards counties require photo ID, even though there may not be a place or even a process to get one. Help your neighbors register and vote. Organize car pools for Election Day. Tell Uber and Lyft they need to offer free rides to polling places.
Volunteer to be a poll watcher. The GOP has been watching like hawks for years. Democrats need to do the same.
It may be too late but try to make Election Day a holiday in your state.
Wear a mask, wash your hands and safe-distance. If we follow the science there probably will be more of us around to vote November 3rd!

Sorry to burst the balloon, but in many states, at least, what Trump suggests is perfectly legal. You can cast your ballot in person–if the absentee vote has not been checked off. You can’t vote twice, but you can vote in person (if, for instance the trip that made you ask for an absentee ballot was canceled) if the absentee ballot has not been processed.

If I am not mistaken, mail in votes in PA cannot be counted until election day, so what Trump is saying makes no sense at all… which actually makes sense.

This is so freakin’ old at this point. He ALWAYS does this – Says something illegal / stupid / hateful. His minions spend the next day desperately furiously spinning (sometimes he even teases a step back), only to return right to it on the third day.
It’s part of the big con. He plays whatever angle anyone wants to take from it – creates fuzzy deniability, dominates the narrative, and sucks the oxygen out of the room for anyone else (i.e. Biden) or any other damning news of his misdeeds and incompetence.

Unmentioned (so far) in all the craziness, if all his supporters show up at the polls to see if their mail-in ballots have been tabulated, it will just make the lines at the polls longer, making it harder for working people to vote.

If the media would just connect the dots for once and add the fact that this is another example of Trump spitting on the military. Because the military have been voting by mail for decades with no problems.And no he thinks voting by mail is open to fraud.
