Trump DOJ Doubles Down on Attacking Judges

Savage! I always liked Marisa Tomei.

I have so many friends that take various psychotropic drugs. One just started on Lexapro. I’m don’t take anything myself. I try very hard to provide myself with quiet time. Love hiking by myself. I DO believe that a lot of the ADHD and various mental health disorders can be traced to social media, scrolling, watching reels, messaging (feeling artificially connected). We are just bombarded constantly and it’s NOT an accident.

Those that have nothing to hide, hide nothing. This whole thing is wrapped up in inordinate secrecy, worse than a State secret (significantly worse now, since state secrets have become part of the First Felon’s ramblings).

And yes, there would be constant banging around in future administrations for this board to check this President or that. We can solve that by stopping candidates from running when they’re already past normal industrial retirement age. That can be managed in the primaries and in the pre-election debates. ‘Could you withstand the check of the medical body responsible for validating your physical and mental condition at any time during your term?’

I imagine they are happy about the chance to run pipelines wherever and whenever with no restrictions. They are already getting the Mal-Administration to loosen restrictions on methane emissions.

Goes to show:

When a woman is told she can’t do something, she does it anyway.

Those who say it cannot be done, should get out of the way of those that are doing it.

Her sentence is to be executed. Surviving an execution attempt is not being executed.

This is not the first time an execution attempt has been unsuccessful.

That did not happen in Dallas County.

You are correct - it was Travis and Harris counties who sued because they wanted to use extra drop-off locations for absentee ballots.

I thought Dallas had participated in the suit but I was wrong.

In 2020, I requested an absentee ballot and did take advantage of the one-time rule change that allowed you to hand-deliver your absentee ballot to the local Early Voting office (during the early voting period). I had to show ID and sign a register; that was fine - I was trying to avoid in-person voting.

That’s still different than Lina Hidalgo’s drive-through voting. IIRC, it was ultimately upheld for 2020 then barred by the stupid 2021 trump-glazing act.
