President Donald Trump claimed on Sunday evening that he wasn’t planning on firing Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar despite multiple reports on Azar’s impending ouster.
“Reports that H.H.S. Secretary @AlexAzar is going to be ‘fired’ by me are Fake News,” Trump tweeted. “The Lamestream Media knows this, but they are desperate to create the perception of chaos & havoc in the minds of the public.”
Azar is “doing an excellent job,” according to the President.

He’s not going to fire him. Azar will just suddenly just want to resign, Trump will reluctantly accept and say he did a good job. Then a week of so later Trump will blame a lot of shit on Azar.
Interesting look back at Republican leaders explanations of what’s going on wit the virus and economy.
so, Trump is willing to let stand the assertion that …
Azar had tried to explicitly (with significant detail) warn Trump about the coronavirus all the way back in January but was bluntly ignored by Trump.
Trump is OK with this information remaining as part of the documentation of the sequence of the debacle?
either we are seeing the beginning of the end … or Trump is moving on to some far more destructive & ugly phase of his reign of terror.
Instead of all this fiction all the time, Worldwide Covid passed the 3 million mark of infections and the US will probably pass the 1 million mark today.
Here’s a story from WaPo about the Bronx and how truly terrible things are. This is one of the more crushing articles I’ve read about every day life. Is it really the 21st century in the US?
He is blocked on my Twitter feed, because I decided a long time ago that I would be happier without reading his attempts to be important. My Twitter feed, however, suggests that he has been tweeting like a chimpanzee on crack. (Or, perhaps, like the proverbial room full of monkeys with typewriters on crack.)
That makes me think that he’s bored and needing an adulation fix. Doesn’t bode well for anyone.
