The meltdown has only just begun. Wait a couple of weeks. That’s when it will really start to get interesting. You ain’t seen nothing yet.
It was a whine.
Offering visitors cottage cheese with ketchup was the deal breaker for me.
“We can’t have an election stolen like this." Agreed.
“It’s amazing how mail-in ballots are so one-sided." Amazing, yes… D’ya think, maybe, you telling your voters to vote in person might have had something to do with that? Just possibly?
“There have been a lot of shenanigans and we can’t stand for that in our country.” You said it.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, Donnie.
I just hope she has a Netflix subscription and a supply of decent Sauvignon Blanc. I’m guessing Don is no fun to hang out with just now.
“We see him like an obese turtle on his back flailing in the hot sun, realizing his time is over…”

Since some people are making their own rules, who is to say it can’t be done after the fact.
I too can claim a state, I take Wyoming, but, I don’t think I’ll get it. Something about standing i think.
He’s gone to new levels of pathetic and potentially harmful. That speech given at, say, a Managers meeting at work, would lead to an HR intervention.
Frankly, if he wants to off himself I say let 'em. Just do it in the Rose Garden okay, not inside on the carpets or furniture. I was flipping channels the other night and they were playing Michael Douglas President Movie, and he’s showing Annette Benning the China room, and talking about President of the US stuff. Trump, he’s a classless troglydite.
Am sure he voted for him, though.
As a Republican who just won in a Blue district, I am embarrassed and ashamed by what I just heard from POTUS.

Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help
.
I am praying that Barron is at his grandparent’s house for the duration.
I expect something more epic by the end of the coming weekend. He is sort of proving he can’t steel himself and be cool period. He wanted immediate results and waiting is killing him.
Just a reminder:
“A small number of white people in a few swing states who have not attended university determine the fate of this country [US] and the world.”
— Wang Yongquin, economics professor at Shanghai’s Fudan University.
I’m reminded that Melanoma demanded to re-negotiate her prenup before she would agree to move into the White(s Only) House. Sadly, she will soon learn she’ll ultimately get stiffed like every other contractor.
Constitution says “principal officers of the executive departments”–I read that as “acting”, but IANAL.
Trouble is, they need a majority, which by my count is 8. Plus Pence. It has to be done ASAP, but are there actually 8 of these people with that kind of sense of duty and responsibility? And bravery, too, because they’d become targets of enraged Trumpistas who will see it as a coup.
I don’t see it happening, in other words.
Seriously, when the networks declare Biden the POTUS, the GOP needs to invoke the 25th Amendment to get Trump out of the seat and have Pence handle the transition. Trump is incapable of handling the job at this point and is costing the GOP a lot of political capital. McConnell is already negotiating directly with Pelosi on a new aid package, so he has already cut Mnuchin and the WH out of the loop.
Perfect title!
His remarks are likely to deepen the extreme polarization that led to his own election, creating a constituency of voters who believe that a potential Joe Biden administration is inherently illegitimate and lacks any sort of popular mandate.
And then in the Senate, unless we get very lucky, there will be Mitch, who will know very well that Biden is a legitimate President, but will refuse to acknowledge that fact in any meaningful way.
Mitch and the republicans are the real fascist.
Trump is gonna trump.
The pitiful thing is that something like a third1 of our friends and neighbors have bought into the con.
1 I say a third because the exit polling I’ve seen suggests that a primary determinant of a person’s vote is their attitude on COVID-19 vs. the Economy. People who believed getting the Economy back to “normal” was the crucial issue voted Trump. People who believed getting COVID-19 under control was the crucial issue voted Biden. I can’t blame people for feeling the economy is critical: it is critical. I think they are mis-informed if they think we can find a new “normal” without first getting COVID-19 under control. (I also think they are woefully misinformed if they really believe we will get the old normal back.)
