Trump Continues To Interfere In Stone Case With Tweets About Judge | Talking Points Memo

Yeah, the last thing anyone wants is for the jury to be prejudiced*.

*does not apply to US Senators

Of course they didn’t object to the jury member at the beginning. Their strategy is knowing the guilt of the client, create a show so that Trump has an excuse to pardon Stone. It’s pretty obvious.

Wha-what?

Donnie doesn’t need any excuses. He’s gonna do what he’s gonna do just because he wants to do it. It sucks, but he does have the power to pardon. That said, he could be made to pay a heavy political price for misusing that power. If Donnie hands Democrats that campaign point, they’d better yell it loudly and clearly through November 3.

Never, ever let facts get in the way of a good narrative.

Faux Noise and company make their money by lying or omitting salient points from the story.

Also, from the opening gavel, Stone tried to personally antagonized judge Jackson into having a mistrial called. “She can’t preside over my case. She has a clear bias.”

Well, to be fair, he did pivot from grotesque corruption to blatant retribution and revenge.

I suspect that wasn’t the pivot we were looking for…

Yep.

If Dems. can coalesce around a candidate who can win it will put so much pressure on Trump that he literally will not be able to contain himself. It will be a spectacular show of demented disintegration on the national stage the likes of which we have never seen. The only question is whether the MSM will cover it honestly as he decompensates or spend the next 8 months explaining to us what Trump meant to say as opposed to the vile nonsense word salad that he actually says.

So the way I see it is Stone’s lawyers had a chance to vet all potential jurors, and they didn’t or did a piss poor job of it.
Stone didn’t pull a Flynn and fire his trial lawyers and hire a new set, just so that their case of not having a fair jury pool and prior legal representation that didn’t represent him well during the trial could be an argument. (Hey Roger if you hadn’t violated the gag order X amount of times then your trial lawyer could have represented you better. Did you ever think of that?)
As for Napolitano there’s this thingy called an appeal, come on over here and ask @tena any questions you may have.

That’s how the lackey who wrote it thinks Trump would spell. They know he is illiterate.

No, it’s a little German squirrel. (I just love the tufts on the ears!)

ETA: I actually do not know where this photo was taken (not by me) but our little squirrel, who looks just like this one, taunts the dog by sitting on a branch outside the floor to ceiling window in my 2nd floor office. It’s also tried to bury walnuts in the flower boxes and corners of my office balcony, not always successfully. It’s just a hoot — somewhat smaller in size than in North American squirrel, which is compensated by the very large ear tufts…

They do it because they know Judge Berman won’t retaliate. After she didn’t revoke bail after Stone literally retweeted her face with a target next to it, it became pretty clear she was being very accommodating to give them nothing for appeal.
