President Donald Trump congratulated Marjorie Greene on Friday, the strong leader of the Republican primary in Georgia’s 14th district and likely to be Congress’ first open QAnon supporter.
“Some believers, mobilized by rumors on social media, have [issued] a call to arms to others in their remote towns, during which they [stand guard] for a threat that never materializes.”
—Unfortunately these folks end up thinking their actions actually prevented the “threat” they were fearing.
If Trump loses and Democrats hold the House and take the Senate, she’s actually going to be a lot of fun to watch. While the GOP is attempting to extricate all traces of Trump from their party, she’ll be on the House floor screaming about nonsensical conspiracy theories. People like her are why they’ll never really be able to get away from Trump.
Still waiting for the ‘gallery of monsters’ TV ad that posts pictures of all of these GOP nutjobs, ghouls, and criminals–culminating in Trump–and asks the simple question: What Has Happened to the Republican Party?
There was a Reconstruction
And there was a Second one (overlapping the modern Civil Rights Movement)
An analyst last night mentioned that we are in a Third one, and George Floyd may well be one of the centerpieces of it.
This QAnon candidate?
She represents the same things encountered by Reconstruction I and Reconstruction II. Liberty and Justice for All is not handed to us on a platter. It must be guarded and valued.
If we participate in our Democracy to the extent that we are capable, we will maintain and expand the rights and privileges every citizen is entitled to.
