President Donald Trump predicted on Monday morning that Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME), who is up for reelection this year, and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) will be hurt politically by their pledge to hold off on approving a new Supreme Court justice before Election Day.
You’re holding the polls upside down, Donnie. And Collins is toast either way. Maybe ya should have learned to play ball instead of attacking Murkowski, numbnuts.
More argle-bargle from the diseased mind of The Vulgar Talking Yam. Please ignore the rantings of this insane person; we have more important matters facing us than his fantasy life.
This was the worst thing he said --implied that RBG’s grand daughter is a liar.
"I don't know that she said that, or was that written out by Adam Schiff & Schumer & Pelosi? I would be more inclined for the second" -- Trump claims Schiff, Schumer, & Pelosi actually wrote RBG's dying statement, & suggests she'd actually be fine w/him nominating her replacement pic.twitter.com/xLQq1csNTz
I think he just can’t accept or understand them emotionally, so he lashes out. He doesn’t get that for them it’s expedient to distance themselves from him. Obama used to get this from purple-state pols all the time, and he’d be gracious about it. But we’re not talking about Obama.
Strangely enough, although his tweet is completely reflexive, Unser Drumpfenfuhrer may have a point on Collins. In a blue state where she already trails, Collins’ transparently politically motivated stance is much more likely to anger Drumpf zombie cultists who may decline to vote in the Senate race than it will entice moderate to liberal voters (the majority in Maine) to switch support from Gideon.
The guy’s toast. I wish Biden would point out that the Repubs know he’s toast, and that’s why they’re in such a rush to nominate some 40-year old to the SCourt. Clearly, if they believed he’s gonna win in a month and a half, they could wait.
He’d more than likely get it through after the election, but I think he’s dead set on getting it done before the election and he’s getting serious pushback. No matter where you stand on eventually confirming his pick, it’s just batshit politically to do it before the election. But he doesn’t care who it harms or how many senators it takes down in the process, he wants to be able to offer up this new appointment as something he “did” during his presidency.
