In his ongoing campaign to play down the COVID-19 outbreak, President Donald Trump on Thursday night tried to cast doubt on the ventilator shortage crisis in New York hospitals.
The latest analysis (best guess) is that the incidence of cases won’t peak for three weeks. Some portion of that, probably most of it, will be exponential growth and the orange asshole is still in denial.
OT: Today marks the end of 14 days of self-quarantine with respect only to my last airport travel time. Last night was the end of 14 days since I traveled through O’Hare and Minneapolis airport, getting home from my client in Chicago. Other than groceries, the only person I’ve been NOT socially quarantined from his my husband.
Summary statement - if I’m getting the virus, any exposure from the two airports has expired. It’s a bit of a relief, honestly, but the game isn’t over yet.
Phhht what do Drs know! Donald says quit whining about ventilator and get back to work like he is…ohh man I got to tweet about that Fox news commentator just said. Hey Melania, go get me some more McDonald’s!
I know this isn’t the way it supposed to be done, but in the face of no leadership from the Federal Government what would stop the governors from forming a buying compact to pool resources and fight costs down?
If reality doesn’t fit his expectations then he conveniently creates his own. The man is pathologically sick, but 40% (possibly more???) of the country thinks he’s God and will never understand just how sick he really is. Also, he’s being cute by half in terms of calculating on bashing Cuomo - and by extension a blue state - won’t matter in the next election. It’s all transactional politics with the absolutely, mentally, unstable human being. Enough already. Oh! And I haven’t even mentioned his Get America Back to Work plan. WTF???
I suspect Kushner hasn’t been able to get some kind of a kick back or Trump hasn’t been able to get a suitable “favor” in return for the contract to build them. Production should have started last month.
Today is the 15th day of hunkering down for us. We have only been out to buy groceries. so far we feel healthy except seasonal allergies are kicking in. It took me a few hours to realize that a runny nose alone doesn’t mean you have COVID-19.
