Trump Claims He’s ‘Already Made That Decision’ On 2024 Presidential Bid

I suspect Trumpy’s decision has more to do with the fact that as the J6 Committee uncovers more criminally by him his chance of being indicted increases and he somehow believes they won’t indict him if he is a declared candidate.

But, but, but. . . since his first term began in 2016 and his second term beginning in 2020 was usurped by Joe, won’t this be a run for a third term which the old white men in 1776 said can’t be done. Dazed and confused in 'Frisco

This clown car of a nation may very well elect him to office again. Especially since SCOTUS is going to validate the independent state legislature theory, allowing states to choose their allocation of votes in the Electoral College regardless the popular vote in their Presidential balloting. Throw in various travails Biden will still be dealing with. Toss in Dem doubts about Biden as a candidate due to those very travails, paired with age and (alleged) cognitive concerns.

I say if he runs he wins.

It’d be funny if his National Campaign Headquarters is a federal prison.

whoosh

As soon as he announces it will cut back on the amount of donations his fatcat backers can give to him directly, so he won’t be announcing any time soon. He is just stringing out the best grift he ever found in his life for as long as possible. The media’s daily coverage helps make his continuing thievery possible.

So you think he has no chance?

The question is “Is Merrick Garland listening to you?” I doubt it.

He’ll win the EC, lose popular vote by 10M+ - unfortunately only the first counts

If he runs and is indicted, he can still be prosecuted.

SCOTUS might have some ‘yoga’ for that, but they’re the ones who dismissed the previous election appeals.

No, he has no chance. His long time supporters are deserting him, the republican establishment will get behind DeSantis so he’s left with the MAGA crowd, well, those who aren’t in jail yet, but no one else.

A convicted felon is eligible to run, win, and be inaugurated. And should he win no court is going to hold him to a sentence that inhibits his ability to serve in the office, any prison time would be held in abeyance.
