Trump Claims He Is Taking Anti-Malaria Drug To Prevent COVID-19 Infection | Talking Points Memo

I’ve heard he’s taken a liking to that ultraviolet light inserted deeply into his ample rear end. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I would also assume by Trumps logic that Nixon was taking the brown acid in 1969 just after Woodstock because he heard from some doctors that it was good.

I don’t know whether to believe him or not. His goal seems to be to promote hydroxycloroquin sales, so whether he’s actually taking it or not, he’s accomplishing the same thing by merely announcing that he is.

Have you SEEN his doctor???

This is all going to go badly, one way or another. This is a guy that’s the right age and in awful health, but at the same time, all stops will be pulled out to make sure nothing happens to this guy. This isn’t something he can bully into submission, but I’ll guarantee you if the worst happens, it will all be Obama’s fault.

There isn’t any. No properly structured study has shown anything beyond statistical noise.

Another fucking lie, this one begging the question: Exactly how much stock does he and his extended crime family own in Novartis, Mylan and/or Teva?

“I’m taking the two, the zinc and the hydroxy,” the President said. “And all I can tell you is, so far I seem to be okay.”

No comment. None. Zip. Nada.

So…either someone’s feeding him a placebo, or…he’s taking the real thing. In which case I say: If one’s good, take two. Or three. What the hell have you got to lose?

A real president would take double the recommended dosage. How about it, Mr. President?

Wasn’t there something with them doing it at the VA or some place and it ended up being worse than the disease?

I know I’m remembering how quickly this was taken out of realistic treatment protocols. They did try, but it was not a good outcome. Even Trump stopped talking about it.

Then he’s lying.

Is he also shining a flashlight up his fat ass?

Could be, but more likely it’s that he’s driven the country into a widely-known ditch labeled COVID-19, and the tow-truck is 3 years away if it ever arrives (the vaccine), and he’s desperate to declare a miracle cure.

I sincerely doubt he’s taking it, pathological liar that he is. I see this as a despicable and potentially deadly attempt to use the bully pulpit of the Presidency to induce ordinary Americans into taking these medications in a misguided attempt to open the economy and schools.

What does he have to lose?
