Wonder if Moscow Mitch will raise his voice above a whisper when he says
" I don’t agree with the President on this"
Well, I don’t think it’s going to scare them much.
"Fish flop around before they die." – David Jolly
States are on their own when it comes to Covid 19.
When it comes down to voting, and anything else Trump chooses to control, the States have no rights.
Now we know how the campaign is going to claim that they have spent the campaign donations. No actual campaigning.
Can you spell D•E•S•P•E•R•A•T•I•O•N? I knew you could.
BTW Whatever happened with the court case where the judge demanded Rethugliklans prove widespread voter fraud existed? They were supposed to do that by last Friday.
Sure–With Gov. Murphy, protecting health of Jerseyans, keeping R rate below 1, has been paramount. I appreciate how he has been diplomatic w Trump, but public health is and always should be non-negotiable.
That said, things are a little up in the air if there will be early, in-person voting in NJ. If there is that will be my first choice. When we’re the only people on the line.
No, it only means that HE can exercise monumental overreach. Presidential prerogative.
Why waste your time? You have zero chance of carrying New Jersey.
If your blatant acts of tyranny by slowing down the mail don’t poll well with Independent voters, there is always the corrupt courts to turn to in today’s Republican America?
The United States is this close to ending our Constitutional republic and the democratic experiment that made us the most envied, well respected world leader for close to 100 years. And for whom does all this benefit? A Russian communist dictator and his barely functioning flunkee of a white supremacist narcissist.
The sainted Conservative Movement is producing nothing but sociopaths. The headlines are full of these kinds of Republicans either assaulting essential workers, beating Blacks at traffic stops, gassing and kidnapping protesters from unmarked cars or winning GOP primaries.
It’s going to be hard to find even one sane, honest person in the Republican Party’s ranks by the November election.
Do you think?
I need to read the petition, but based on the reporting, the President’s legal team doesn’t even try to create a legal argument.
Post-election Trump is going to file suit in all 50 states, disputing the validity of every single mail-in ballot and throwing the final decision on a victor into doubt. He has a legal war chest in the tens of millions specifically set aside for legal fees to do this. He will sow chaos and trust the judiciary he’s stacked in his favor pulls victory from the jaws of defeat. It’s going to be a contentious battle bordering on a civil war, and may very well result in one.
One would think the courts would look a little sideways at him endorsing it in some states while suing others.
Justice=fairness.
The point isn’t to win. The point is to cast doubt on the election, so he can whine when he loses and his people will believe it.
He is listening to someone, but it’s just another idiot. The lawyers involved will happily take the campaign’s money.
Center of the Earth?
The smell of desperation in the morning.
But wait there’s more Order now and we’ll throw in an extra sidebar of suppression

Whatever it takes. Whatever it takes, man, to throw these motherforkers out.
