Trump has said HE COULD shoot someone on Fifth Avenue. Therefore, shouldn’t Trump be taken into protective custody? Isn’t this the same logic?
This is exactly like the famous moment in “The Treasure of the Sierra Madre” when the miners are in a standoff with a bunch of bandits, and the Bogie character calls out, "If you’re federales, where are your badges? The bandit leader looks perplexed for a moment, clearly having not thought of this. That’s where they are. Evidence? Wha? We don’ need no stinkin’ evidence! We just don’t want the voting to happen! That should be enough!
THIS WAS ON A FRIEND’S PAGE: An anguished question from a Trump supporter: ‘Why do liberals think Trump supporters are stupid?’
THE SERIOUS ANSWER: Here’s what the majority of anti-Trump voters honestly feel about Trump supporters en masse:

That when you heard him relating a story of an elderly guest of his country club, an 80-year old man, who fell off a stage and hit his head, to Trump replied: “‘Oh my God, that’s disgusting,’ and I turned away. I couldn’t—you know, he was right in front of me, and I turned away. I didn’t want to touch him. He was bleeding all over the place. And I felt terrible, because it was a beautiful white marble floor, and now it had changed color. Became very red.” You said, “That’s cool!” (https://www.gq.com/story/donald-trump-howard-stern-story)

What you don’t get, Trump supporters, is that our succumbing to frustration and shaking our heads, thinking of you as stupid, may very well be wrong and unhelpful, but it’s also…hear me…charitable.
Because if you’re NOT stupid, we must turn to other explanations, and most of them are less flattering.
OT: Speaking of fraud, here’s real fraud. Better lawyer up, Mr. Bannon.

A WHOIS search of We Build the Wall’s website shows it is registered to an Austin-based company’s address and a number that only accepts text messages.
That company’s co-owner texted me back that WBTW used their contact info “without permission.”
“We suspect this is a fraud.”
Morons. The same logic could apply to in-person voting. Because … reasons.
Stupid or incredibly evil?
But what if their actions will inevitably disenfranchise some voters? Does “will” outweigh “could”?
Brilliant legal reasoning; the case is open and shut. Find for the Defendants. And may God have mercy on the plaintiffs (and their lawyers’) souls.
Heck of a first post, and welcome.
I copied the above catalog of lies and crimes into a Word file to I can pop it out in various places at different times.
Maybe someone else might want to do that also.
The campaign then loaded the 524-page document with articles about a handful of cases of voter fraud unrelated to mail-in voting or drop boxes.
They used 524 pages to say “We got nothing”?
The Trump Campaign lawyers are billing by the page?
No, by the pound.
tRump committed voters fraud this year:
" The campaign argued that though it has no proof that fraud of this type has happened, it could — and that’s grounds enough for barring the boxes."
Well, I guess we just shouldn’t allow voting then because it opens yhe door for voter fraud…
Excellent!
You do know that stealing is the sincerest form of flattery…
Wow, real penny-ante stuff.
Especially when he’s wearing his nice New Clothes…
Trump has no understanding of ‘subtlety’. If he did, his lies would be more inventive and find a greater audience. We are lucky he is stupid.
Or waiting for the croupier to bring him his or her winnings before closing the place down…
“Shocked! Shocked, I tell you!”…
