Trump Calls Grand Jury Indictment ‘An Act of Blatant Election Interference’

Former President Trump issued a blistering statement on Thursday evening after multiple news outlets reported that a grand jury voted to indict him on charges brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Trump, who would be the first president in American history charged with a crime, suggested the reported indictment is an effort to interfere with his re-election campaign.

The only reason that Trump announced so early (besides grift) is because he thought that being a candidate would shield him from indictment.

“From the time I came down the golden escalator at Trump Tower, and even before I was sworn in as your President of the United States, the Radical Left Democrats – the enemy of the hard-working men and women of this Country – I have been engaged in a Witch-Hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement protracted series of crimes that, quite frankly, preceded my flight down the golden escalator by a long time.”

FIFT!

Next Donnie will be calling for the exhumation of Roy Cohn’s corpse to assist in his defense.

Uncle Joe too smart to take the bait. Orange one is flailing and hoping he can get into a media battle with anyone to distract.

He is throwing sh!t against the wall to see what sticks.

Of course this is Donald thrashing about, trying to convince the ignorant that he’s more important than them.

As for his contention, the election is in November, year after next.

This won’t interfere with that, and tell Donald he doesn’t have the right to execute a marketing plan.

The news is reporting that there are 34 counts in the indictment and if true that means Trump will not get off.

If there were 34 payments to mikey cohen then it could just be one count per payment. Mikey was paid off for handling stormy, dressed up to look like a recurring legal expense payment. I don’t think TFG is going to “get off”, but I also don’t think he’s going to prison for this if the only convictions are for falsifying business records.

ETA: it was 12 payments to mikey, so it’s not a “34 payments means 34 counts” scenario.
