Haha - reminds me of the charlatan that got hired at my school (to be the Academic VP!), one of whose credentials (among other travesties of truth) consisted of the Stanford logo captioned as leading the debate team.
Yeah– during the summer, Stanford opens its doors to any number of education-adjacent programs. (I was in one for several years-a program actually part of the Stanford School of Ed. for Bay Area history teachers.)
THAT guy? He was a coach for a Lincoln-Douglas high school debate team that met at Stanford in the summer.

Nothing…but all those people that historically may have benefited from service would be drafted instead of volunteering. MAYBE some of “privileged” would get sucked in, too…but undoubtedly would have deferrals readily available. So, what was the “benefit” of nobody enlisting? ![]()
I think it would be political disaster not only for Trump but for all Republicans if Trump were to start drafting people for military service so they could fight and die in his wars.
Unless it would drive the stock market down (questionable with all the military contractors) that seems to hardly be a deterrent for Trump
