People who read aloud (teachers, librarians, ministers…) can probably attest that you have a reader’s ear that alerts you when your mouth says something that needs attention (“Hey…weird verb you just used…are you sure?”). Ordinarily you would realize you had messed up the “ramparts” line since it isn’t a word you ordinarily hear, and you would correct it or change what you were saying to make it make sense. He chose the latter, and messed it up even more.
That said, I also like the fact that he used the acknowledgement of the error to A) blame it on something else and B) lie about the crowd size.

Totally different. Obama was reliant on TelePrompTer, because black and nobody ever saw him at the university he supposedly attended. Trumpp uses the TelePrompTer to have a record of his exact words, so the lying fake failing America-hating liberal news media will be exposed when they make up fake Trumpp quotes.
Bill Clinton famously continued a SOTU speech after the teleprompter broke. He was able to do this because he actually worked on his own speech. The idea that Trump can recite a new speech from memory that he didn’t write is just insane. Like Trump.
I can’t be the only one who thinks Trump needs glasses. But he thinks those who wear glasses are weak.
They don’t bother trying to join, because affirmative action gives all the spots to minorities.
