Trump, Biden Face Off At First Presidential Debate Of 2020 | Talking Points Memo

I’m trying to parse this to see if I’m missing something but all I’m getting out of it is that you’re still a fringe looney.
I don’t think any levels of coolness negate that.

Not that there is anything wrong with that, of course…

From what I read in the NYT for there, yes. They just don’t count your absentee ballot if it comes in and you’ve voted in person.

Massive fuckup there, probably plenty of folks won’t look, and some may deliberately send in one for someone else.

My profile picture is the sticker I received earlier today after dropping off my ballot at my county’s Board of Elections. While I was standing there they confirmed I filled out the Oath section properly so my ballot could be accepted.

Not in NY, but general principle is that you can do a ![image|666x500] provisional ballot. NY has pretty bad laws tho. Try looking up in iwillvote.com

Wut?

Programming note: Chris Christie, who is helping run Trump's debate prep, will be an on-air analyst tonight on @ABC News.

I think socialist is a good option, too.

Well, this ain’t a book, but it is less than 3 hours. I watched this last night, and it has moments of pure gold! Classic vines and memes for when you lose your will to live. 25 minutes is all. Worth every one. You’ll be glad you did.

Exactly. I looked because a number of other people in my building got misaddressed ballots too. I probably would have noticed anyway. But a lot of people won’t. You’re right.

But the Country Board of Elections made an announcement that they’re sending news ones to everybody in areas this print shop serviced, with instructions not to use the previous ballot.

That doesn’t mean people still wont though.

Why he still pads around after Trump considering all the humiliation that’s been heaped on him is a mystery to me.

Right. And what happens when you send in a second ballot, but someone else sent in yours, and now they have two absentee ballots for you…

Absolute. Clusterfuck.

I don’t watch This Week because they feature Chris Christie as one of the talking heads.

Got a message at work today from a partner in the firm I work at about checking the inside address on the return envelope to make sure it matched.
100,000 in Queens and Brooklyn.
I’d have to log back in to the work email to get the exact specifics.
I don’t want to log back on to check but that was the gist of it, some sort of printer error.
Sounded like it’s being corrected.
Might as well mention, without getting too specific, that this partner is major league, so if people like that are aware of it bet stuff gets moving on it.

Check for info on your Board of Elections website.

In Maryland you can change your mind and vote in person, but they ask that you notify them via phone call so they can cancel the barcode for your mail-in ballot and update the book at your voting location so it won’t be marked that you voted by mail. (Makes things easier all around)
