Look, California is solid blue, and CA public schools have been passing along illiterate and uneducated students for decades. In CA, we even give college diplomas to folks who can not even write a sentence in English. The same is true for Texas where a CA “A and B” student I know, who graduated HS and can’t write a sentence in English, is a straight A student at a well known Texas college. The teacher’s unions are solid blue as well, so Dems can’t just say that Republicans are the problem with education. Dems are big on social promotion and making or accepting every excuse known to man for why students who are basically illiterate should get diplomas (for trying, I guess). I get that Republicans are the ones cutting federal funding for education, but they are not the only reason why our schools are failing students.

Dems don’t dictate very much of what you are listing…but I get there is some correlation that the teachers or unions or a state might be blue. But the Dem political organization isn’t calling the shots and sending these dictums.
The R party, however, takes a direct approach into hamstringing, defunding, and smashing the education system. They don’t have to write policy or affect curriculum or make sense…just smash. And they take no responsibility for the system or it’s outcomes. Only Ds can be responsible, evidently…even though we aren’t really making the rules or writing the curriculum. We’re just trying to keep the system running and safe and provide the tools for the school boards and regents and public.

If we can ever get back control of the House and Senate ( doubtful unless we really do go into bad recession or depression) one off the first things on the Dem agenda should be impeachment of at least three of the “justices” on SCOTUS. Actually why not make it a clean sweep? If the number of people who are coming out to Bernie/AOC’s events indicates the frustration and anger of so many Americans, we are close to getting voters to get off their butts and voting to get rid of this useless Congress. That is a start. Short circuit this asshole’s misuse of the judicial system, and he will have an explosive temper tantrum and hopefully stroke out on live TV, so we can all watch him expire.

There are at least 4 who clearly lied in their confirmation hearings, and probably to the FBI, so if they refuse to resign, they should be arrested, jailed and tried even if there are insufficient votes to impeach.

I’d go for that. And since the FatFelon has lied, cheated and stolen nonstop since he “assumed power” perhaps we could send the arresting officers to the Oval Office as well. Stephen Miller really needs to have some duct tape applied to his lying mouth and some steel around his wrists.
