I remember when the admin of bush the lesser pulled the same crap, rescinding the rule promoting CFLs and instead returning to incandescent bulbs. The manufacturers were pissed at them because they’d already tooled up to produce CFLs. Didn’t gain the bush admin any goodwill from either consumers or manufacturers.

Yep. Except it seems as though the wide swaths of the Baby Boomer generation (of which I am a member) wants to tear down and destroy just about everything around them and leave nothing to the future. They hate themselves, their children, the country. The right wing Christian End Times death cult have a grip on our Government and is determined to destroy it.

The manufacturers don’t even want this. It will get reversed in 2020 (if it gets through the lawsuits by then). The mfgers won’t make a change based on this. It’s just silly.

T rumpp really is going scorched Earth in everything he does. All or nothing, and he wants it all. If Obama was for it, he’s against it. If Obama was against it, he’s for it. If Obama was against global warming, then T rumpp is for global warming. If Obama was for LED light bulbs, then he’s against them. If Obama was against wasting energy, the the Dotard is 100% in favor of wasting as much energy as possible. No questions about consequences. His policies shine a brighter light on his antipathies toward Obama than they do on his concern for planet earth. If Obama was in favor of a cooler climate, then he’s in favor of a scorched Earth.
