In Trump’s idiot brain, he has made the calculus that Democrats will come to the table and cave if he starves the impoverished and working impoverished. It’s his simple way of thinking. He has nothing resembling foresight. He is purely impulsive; he is governed by his id. (The Freudian id, not his driver’s license.) and he is perpetually angry because he’s not loved, except universally hated, by everyone who loves the Obamas.

When I was a kid, I remember watching some sci-fi anthology show where every citizen got a monthly voucher for a large tin of meals. They looked like coffee pods that I guess plumped up into full meals. Anyway, this one couple gets their voucher and it’s got a crease on it. The authorities (who presumably run this idiotic system) couldn’t take it because the machines couldn’t read the crease. The couple at first complained that they received the voucher creased, which set off a bureaucratic nightmare of fault-finding that would take months, so they confessed to creasing it themselves just to get on with things since they were now rationing whatever food pods they had left. But that set off another nightmare because even though they were awarded emergency rations, the authorities confiscated them as a penalty for “lying” about the crease. Fast forward to the guy cashing in the next month’s voucher looking like something the cat dragged in, when the clerk asked him what happened to his (missing) arm.
I never in a million fucking years imagined the United States government turning into a creaky, stupid force for evil in the world and yet, here we fucking are. Any Democrat who refuses to get behind Nuhremburg trials for these evil motherfuckers needs to be put on trial themselves.

I’ve watched politics for well over 60 years. Never in all that time have I seen more impeachible offenses committed by a president in just over 10 months. Yet nothing happens. trump’s offenses and laws broken in plain In-Your-Face manner are sane washed and ignored. He is an accessory to murder on so called drug boats he says are transporting terrorists (no evidence offered). He has broken laws right, left and center yet no one cares
WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO REMOVE HIM FROM OFFICE? Need I remind folks that when he is a civilian again he will be sentenced for those 34 felonies he was convicted of.

Grocery stores have received communication from the government that they’re forbidden to run sales or otherwise cut prices for SNAP labeled foods full price only. The only alloance is sales tax is not charged for EBT card holders

Unfortunately, according to the Repubs, the price for releasing the SNAP funds is to agree to gut ACA and Medicaid. Dems are right to hold the line.
