Trucker Protest Movement Taken Over By Text Message ‘Scammers’

Much of the trucking industry is premised on getting the poorly educated leasing a truck. The income promises rarely deliver as stated. If drivers turn in their truck, their credit rating is trashed as well. A poor credit rating makes hourly work that much harder to get. Indentured servitude.

Back in the day, when computer “hacking” (actually “cracking”) was a new thing, the argument was that if people hadn’t implemented adequate protection, they deserved what happened to them. This attitude probably still prevails.

Conservative goals are never fully realized until a multilevel marketing scam is made part of it.

I’m repeating myself here: cowboys wear baseball caps so no one will mistake them for truck drivers.

I don’t think so. I think that you’re supposed to use Dippity-Doop.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

This is the reception the convoy got in my neighborhood last April. They were there to threaten/harass my local rep and her pre-school age children…

“many may be dooped”

Every aspect of this seems wildly appropriate

Not just performance in your truck, but performance in bed! Cures your ED and makes you irresistible to the ladies!

“The secret sauce behind this product is the organometallic compound. This helps you burn your fuel more efficiently.”

I immediately tune out any advertising that claims to have a ‘secret sauce’. Either you tell me what it is so I can check the veracity of your statement through independent sources or I assume its a scam.

Yes. That is why their movement is failing.

I’m sure of it.

Scammers never learn. Those who are scammed never learn. The so-called free market economy creates corrupt perpetrators for gullible victims. GREED and ENVY, they make the system “work.”

Did any of the scammers use the handle “Rubber Duckey”?

Is this company another Devolder affiliate?

On a slightly more serous note, I recall seeing ads for this sort of secret “fuel supplement” or fuel line device that “Detroit doesn’t want you to know about” in publications going back to the 60’s (at least!). It isn’t surprising that these scammers prey on the RW types. Many of them evidently son’t live in a fact-based universe and tend to accept things based on authority, force of personality, and faith.

Great neighborhood! I’m impressed by how fast they could lay hands on vast numbers of eggs.

Eggs were cheaper last year. It was before bird flu.

Eggs didn’t used to be worth their weight in gold. I blanched just yesterday when I saw a dozen eggs for over $9.00.
