This story needs far more attention than can be gleaned in 280 characters. It’s hypocrisy of the highest form with all requests for congressional appearances to go through Meadows.
“Agencies must maximize their resources for Covid-19 response efforts and treat hearing requests accordingly,” the message said. “Given these competing demands in these unprecedented times, it is reasonable to expect that agencies will have to decline invitations to hearings to remain focused on implementing of Covid-19 response, including declining to participate in multiple hearings.”
A senior administration official said the restriction on appearances by task force members was also imposed because they needed time to focus on the response rather than preparing for congressional hearings. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment.
Senator Lamar Alexander, Republican of Tennessee and the chairman of the committee, said on Monday that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the administration’s top infectious disease official; Dr. Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Dr. Stephen Hahn, the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration; and Admiral Brett P. Giroir, the assistant secretary of health at the Department of Health and Human Services, would appear at the May 12 hearing for what he described as a “status report on going back to work, back to school.”

I hope we are not passing the hat around to the Chinese government for the $2.999999999 trillion and 99c. If the Chinese government made the virus as a biological weapons to kill over 65,000 Americans, there should sanctions, war, shock and awe with retaliatory airstrikes and space attacks.

Good article here:
Not just Social Security and Medicare, but all the other Federal Pension Programs, including Military. Then foreign countries (mostly Japan and China, but many others as well), who want to keep our dollar stronger than their currencies, to benefit their export trade.

It’s such a small statement that you could be forgiven for overlooking it. But my God, it does take your breath away. 
Additionally, I was curious to know how does this $3 trillion fit in with the $2.2 trillion stimulus package passed by Congress? Is this totally unrelated to that? I’m not clear on that…
A trillion here, a trillion there…pretty soon this is going to add up to some real money!

I was really having a hard time understanding what this money was for, so I went back and reread the article. I think the following quote explains it, though not really in any great detail. But it would seem that the $2.2 trillion stimulus and the PPP are included in this enormous $3 trillion number.
IOW, this is just the actual funding of the money that Congress has allocated, not some new unauthorized spending. See if you guys agree with me…
