Kudos to Rep. Katie Porter…hope you will be in the Covid Relief Oversight Committee!
Additionally, Porter’s office analyzed the federal government contract information, and found that many of the U.S. contracts for medical supplies will not completed until September of October.
So there is a possibility that Trump Regime’s failure to respond to Covid in time did NOT only cause the preventable deaths of Americans BUT it will potentially cause MORE deaths in medical personnels/responsers and other non-Covid patients also!

One of two things that explain the sudden downplaying of the need for ventilators. See, it is all good, all those medical folks just panicked. So selling them at steep profit and sending them over seas was a no brainer of an opportunity.

Evan Mecham wasn’t devious enough to lie outright. Ignorance of the law nailed him. He did not realize taking money from his inaugual fund and using that money to prop up his car dealership was illegal.
Fife was devious. And smart. He got embroiled in a real estate-shady land deal just before becoming governor but it did cost him a couple years of freedom. John McCain nearly lost his career in the deal as well. I don’t recall the detail but it was a huge scandal here.

When the dust settles, the 40% number will be seen to be much lower. Youngsters in this country are much less engaged politically.
Even my son (who is a good guy politically) is about 10% as interested in politics as older people.
An anecdote:
I am retirement age. My wife and I were voting in the 2010 Congressional elections. We were talking in Spanish and something made me turn my head.
I then saw a disconcerted man staring at me…which prompted me to look around:
My wife and I were among the youngest people in line.
