THE JANUARY 6TH INSURRECTIONISTS ARE STILL IN THE BUILDING!

A porn star early in his acting career as he tries to break into tough guy roles on the big screen. Undercover DEA, mob enforcer, euro-trash arms dealer, ex-special forces turned alcoholic bum. Anything but the lead role in Log Jammin’ III, please!

My, my, it does look as if the seditious conspiracy to defraud the US was indeed widespread doesn’t it?

Any doubt this is a coverup? Any doubt this displays consciousness of guilt? Not much.

In January 2023, if the GOP wins the House, we must have more hearings about Benghazi!

For some reason, this is the first image that popped into my insufficiently-caffeinated brain this morning.

(Bill Mauldin was a real treasure.)

Benedict Arnold
The British promised £20,000 for the capture of West Point, a major American stronghold; Washington greatly admired Arnold and gave him command of that fort in July 1780. Arnold’s scheme was to surrender the fort to the British, but it was exposed in September 1780 when revolution militia captured André carrying papers which revealed the plot. Arnold escaped; André was hanged.

Trump’s toadies & sycophants should ponder the fate of co-conspirator André

“There must be no doubt that the Inspector General leading this investigation can conduct it thoroughly and with integrity, objectivity and independence. We do not have confidence that Inspector General Cuffari can achieve those standards.”

What standards? These calculating criminals tried every trick in the book to undermine what was clearly happening on their watch and from what is being inferred ,there is not an effective way to recover the information to round out this portion of the J6 investigation. These people are traitors aiding the overthrow of the government and our legal system may be too toothless to touch them.

The solution is simple: Blue-collar justice for white-collar crimes. A law exists to arrest these miscreants and keep them in the slammer for destruction of US Govt records for some uncomfortable amount of time. The DOJ has to go hard and fast to prove there are legal/financial consequences. Otherwise, more of this will happren…as it clearly wasn’t just the SS doing it.

What for example, is happening regarding the docs Trump stole and moved to FL illegally??

Breaking laws with abandon cheapens the legal process and gives a green light for more white-collar crimes. And it makes blue-collar enforcement of relatively small-time stuff look abusive and hypocritical.

ps…Now…whattya gonna do about it…corruption was already a well trodden path for them…the no reprisals part is what hurts…they get away with it.

That would be grossly unfair to General Arnold, or at least to one of his legs.

That’s what you get from Google Translate if you convert “We think he is a crooked son of a bitch” from English to Bureaucrat.

IG’s can be fired for cause, right?

Not yet. Keep him on the payroll so he can be required to testify.

But assign him to sorting the pencils in the sub-sub-basement of Federal Office Building 4 in Suitland.

I don’t have time to pull links, but to the best of my knowledge this would fall under federal records laws, which carry penalties for violations, including failures to preserve records as required. Those punishments are generally not all that harsh unless you can show a willful violation, which is difficult to do. Therefore, enforcement actions are rare.

Texts sent and received by Chad Wolf and Ken Cuccinelli, ex-President Donald Trump’s acting Homeland Security secretary and acting deputy secretary, respectively, in the days leading up to Jan. 6 are missing…

I had the joy of sharing a beer with Bill Mauldin back in the day. I asked if it was true that the cartoon that won him a Pulitzer also earned him a chewing out from Gen. Patton.
“Naw, I wouldn’t call it a chewing out. We had a lively discussion, and Gen. Patton did all the talking.”
