Thought I’d pop this up here
I’m out of free articles.
So with the elimination of several GOP State primaries and other tomfoolery, what are these party members proposing to do to defeat the guy? The only option they seem to have is to vote for the opposition, but I can’t see most GOPpers holding their noses to pull that switch with a D behind it (or similarly, mark said ballot accordingly).
The GOP party apparatus is all in for Trump.
These guys are a drop in the bucket, no?
“…former John McCain adviser Steve Schmidt; former Ohio Gov. John Kasich adviser John Weaver; former New Hampshire GOP chair Jennifer Horn; veteran Republican operative Rick Wilson; and George Conway…”
I’m really gonna miss these guys the nanosecond their “Trump problem” is gone.
And they all race back – at light speed – to demonizing Democrats.
Incapable of learning how their own complicity insured this monster.
And guaranteeing the next one…
There’s a story about the op-ed on NBC News .com
He’s just lost in a snowstorm.
“Anonymous” can feed info to her husband any time.
Didn’t find the story on there, but I did find this and am surprised not to see anything about it on TPM - I guess it’s not important enough:
If only there had been widespread public attention to the fact that Trump mocked a disabled reporter, or raped his ex-wife, or was caught on tape saying vile things about women, or was in a million other ways a horrible human being. A 30-second ad highlighting any of those things surely would have led to his electoral defeat!
Everyone knows what Trump is.
Ugh, sorry, I hoped posting would prevent them from blocking…The one thing these guys have going for them is a media platform from which to make noise. But I think it’s valuable for Republican voters to see that there are Republicans who oppose their emperor.
Honestly, the only thing I am sure of is that this PAC will go rushing back to their party when the dust settles!
Bless their souls!! Anything and everything will help. I love these guys.
Another interesting holiday coming up at Casa Conway…
Yes indeed. Remember that 2016 campaign ad showing kids watching Trump say and do profane things on TV? Asking people what do they tell their kids about this candidate?
His supporters were not moved.
My grandson, a victim of bullying at school, stayed up to watch the election returns.
My daughter reported that he went to bed in tears. The bully had won. My grandson lost hope at ten years old. He’s had mental health issues ever since and, now, is coming through after a really, really dark period in his life.
But the 2016 election did not help. Not one bit.
I still think it’s extremely unlikely that Kellyanne is Anonymous, but yeah: It appears that George outed her.
Wait what? How do you think he outed her?
It sure as hell didn’t, and I wish your grandson lots of light and comfort. My young daughter is a high school teacher, and her students are resonating with the misery of what we all are living through.
Let’s rejoice that republicans are doing something instead of nothing. Anything, any pushback is welcome, there’s no place for cynicism or “too late” shit about this. They’ll be dedicating themselves to defeating trumPP. Fuckin’ A is in order.
Don’t need a PAC. Need a third-party candidate who will give the 2-5% of Republicans who don’t want to hold their noses and vote for a Democrat a person who they can vote for with a clear conscience. Drop Trump from 48% of the vote to 45-46% and he loses bigly.
Sadly, a third party candidate of any ilk is likely to pull voters from a Dem before a Rep. Just general.
The protest vote, based on principle purity. We’ve all seen it before.
