That’s Rubio’s jam: it’s all the media’s fault for giving this skank attention. Nope, not buying it. If she were ignored, she’d gain even more adherents and copy cat wannabes. Better to drag her out into the spotlight and make the Thugs own her and her malignance.
In my view a grounded Black person with an “AY-RAB” name being threatened by radicals is exactly the right person to call out these White bat shit crazy elected Congress members.
That said, the cancer is not Greene, she is just the symptom of that cancer. Rather, the tumor that needs to be cut out are all those, 140+, who advanced the lies and sedition attempt by supporting Trump’s attempt to steal the election and otherwise use racism, xenophobia, religious bigotry, misogyny, gay bashing and the rest to appeal to deplorables so as to hold power and enrich themselves at the nations expense.
Dems are fundraising on her crazy, if the calls to my house are any indication. She is painting the GOP as out of control lunatics and that is a good thing. She will disappear eventually, the damage she has done to the Republicans will linger for some time.
“I haven’t looked at what all she’s done,” the freshman senator told CNN’s Ted Barrett on Tuesday. “I’d have to hold back a statement on that…[I’ve] been traveling. This weather’s been a little rough. [Didn’t] look at any news or whatever.”
I ran out of gas! I got a flat tire! I didn’t have change for cab fare! I lost my tux at the cleaners! I locked my keys in the car! An old friend came in from out of town! Someone stole my car! There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts!
What a coward, Taylor-Greene has learned that no consequences mean no consequences. She’s already out there attacking Ilhan Omar.
Kevin McCarthy does not indicate that he'll take any action against Marjorie Taylor Greene. He said that, in his meeting with her, she recognized her words now have "much greater meaning." Greene has not yet indicated that in public.
McCarthy blamed Democrats for his own failure. It is a typical Republican response. She has no business being on either the Education or Budget committees. Tomorrow’s vote to remove her ought to be interesting in that a couple of R’s may join the D’s, especially if Liz Cheney is booted from leadership.
