Republican Senate candidate Pat Toomey is using his latest TV ads to hit Democrat Joe Sestak anew over his support for the 2008 financial bailouts, and to opine on the country’s future against the backdrop of a newborn baby. The two ads, both 30-second spots unveiled Tuesday, are running on broadcast and cable networks for what the campaign said would be an indefinite period of time. They come as Toomey’s campaign has mostly dominated the airwaves in the first few months following the May primary, thanks to the financial advantage Toomey enjoyed from avoiding a tough primary and an infusion of ad buys from independent groups supporting his candidacy.
