Ok. I see the headline on Business Insider. Now the question is have the deaths been lab confirmed for the virus? Iām asking because most of the deaths have occurred in China-about 70%. The cause of death is pneumonia from what Iāve been reading from some of the Chinese newspapers that google can translate. China has been including since February clinical diagnosis of cases. They have also been using CT scans. That will inflate the number of cases as well as the death count. So based on observation of symptoms and the scan they are diagnosis people with the virus. Are these people dying from pneumonia caused by the virus or are they dying from air pollution because China is the number one polluted country in the world. I know some of this isnāt important to people but I feel we are not getting full disclosure. I would like to know how many people worldwide have been infected and have recovered completely. Why is that no being widely published.

Yes, the Chinese confirmed all of the people who died were due to this coronavirus, they did not confuse them with other pneumonia cases. They actually have kits to test people with.
Your question really should be how many Americans have died in the past couple weeks of pneumonia who had the virus that we donāt know about, since there arenāt nearly enough test kits to test the living who need it,much less the dead bodies in the morgue.

The reason Hanks and his wife could get tested was because they were in Australia. It would have taken them a while and a lot of persistence to get tested in the U.S.

Hanks is our Jimmy Stewart, a guy whose talent and personal humanity and decency enable him to reach down and portray those qualities on the screen so vividly it adds to our sense of what a person can be, and the meaning you can find in life. Itās not that his life matters more. Itās that the body of work heās done has helped a lot of people see that their lives mattered more than they might have supposed. It creates a connection. Get well soon, Mr. and Mrs. Hanks. And for everyone whoās sick or scared, hang in there. Just hang in there.

You know what? Iād rather go than watch my children go. So at least it looks like that wonāt happen.
Itās a bummer being disabled and old, but it would be worse if this was attacking young people. Thatās the best I can do in the ābeing positiveā department.

Bummer for Tom, but I can think of worse places to quarantine.
