I think about this a lot. A very simplistic explanation: It’s Fox, right-wing radio, etc., in terms of Trump’s ability to sustain (besides other factors of course). If we all just had the big three newscasts every night—like we had during Watergate, as well as the more, but still-limited news options during Clinton—he’d have been gone after the disabled reporter “impersonation.” That one killed me.

I would say that I’m surprised she has no qualms about helping an old married man buy the silence of a porn star he had an affair with so that voters wouldn’t find out about it in time to vote differently, but then I remembered: the only people who hate women more than Republican men are Republican women.
