Wow, another new study. Hand-wringing and pearl-clutching drivel the order of the day.

This article is mush! This is why people are tuning out on the news! An entire article about political threats, and not one single mention of any partisan affiliation. Not even one single mention of Trump?

Can you PLEASE read the articles you post? The quote from the article literally describes REVERSING VICTIM & OFFENDER but the author ignores that, being paid by a think tank to obscure, not reveal:

Counterintuitively, white, male, rural and conservative respondents all reported that threats and harassment had gotten worse more often than their nonwhite, female, urban and liberal counterparts - even though nonwhite, female, urban and liberal respondents reported more threats and harassment overall.

This is not journalism! It’s overly polite mush serving as cover for fascism. Do better.

And no reference to Trump and the GOP?

So it is all the voters fault.

The Troubling Trend is the GOP.

The reason women, minorities, etc. haven’t reported increases in threats is because they were already being buried in threats and innuendo and more. It’s definitely not because they’re being treated so much better now. It’s never been safe to be female, non-white, or LGBTQ. Maybe if all those poor white males don’t like being threatened and harrassed, they could get a clue and do something about the toxic culture that spawns that behavior.

I lived in SoCal for more than 30 years. It could only be called “home of the Libtards” if you conflate SoCal with Hollywood.

And silicon valley is not in southern California.

Well it is the southern part of the Bay Area. Close enough for people who don’t know California or bother to look at a map.

This year, wildfires raging across the tundra also added to the region’s emissions total by further melting the permafrost and sending the grassy landscape up in smoke. Since 2003, these wildfires have released 207 million metric tons of carbon into the atmosphere.

A number of communities in Southern California, places like Huntington Beach are fairly conservative. There’s even a subset of MAGA surfers there.

We lived in Irvine, Lake Forest, and the foothills of north Tustin. We didn’t discuss politics with our neighbors.

I guess I want to know who’s being threatened into pretending that the annexation of Canada is a legitimate proposal, that any serious person in good faith sincerely believes and persuasively argues it would even remotely be a good idea worth even mentioning out loud.
