As I read the article, she did not regret the views expressed or deny that they are accurate, just that the UK’s carefully considered opinion was leaked.

Trump had his own retort to the leak: “We’re not big fans of that man (Darroch) and he has not served the UK well. … I can say things about him, but I won’t bother,” the President said Sunday.
Trump continued his swipes at Darroch on Monday afternoon, saying the U.S. would no longer work with him and that it was “good news” for the UK that May is on her way out the door.
And so the business of high level American diplomacy continues unchecked. How is it he doesn’t have a nickname for PM May - or did I miss it?
This bullshit plus his infantile rants against FOX News for daring to voice some trivial criticism of him shows what he is preoccupied with and how he always thinks he must respond to every slight, every tiny preceived insult.

I would say that Donald Trump is not only an embarrassment to the US and the UK, but also to the rest of the world, but then I would just be repeating the thoughts of 7,365,482,013 other people, and - heaven knows! - people around here on this site expect one to be original at least!
