The Worst Nightmare For DOJ Is Already Coming True

David Kurtz -
I made Paul’s turkey gumbo again this year, it was as tasty and amazing as always. I also shared it with an online community and I am certain many more will be trying it next year. Thank you for sharing your personal side with us.

When your entire moral code consists of “Money! Money! and More Money!!!”, these decisions are easy.

I’m overwhelmed by your infectious jeu d’esprit.

I’m sure he can. But he’s considering a run for the Michigan Senate seat, so I’m sure they would like to damage his chances at that.

My condolences on Pableaux’s death. I’m actually headed to New Orleans today (for a family celebration, fortunately), and I’ll raise a glass to him this weekend.

Trump has a nice scam going that I fail to see much media focus on. He files frivolous, meritless lawsuits against people and companies with business before the government. The type of business they desperately need regulatory approval for. And he flat out tells them to settle, or the merger or acquisition or whatever it is they need won’t happen. Meta, ABC, Paramount/CBS have or soon will fork over vast sums, to him personally (yeah, it’s going for my library  actually), tens of millions or more. The CBS settlement may approach hundreds of millions. And it’s all extortion money. All of it. And I doubt we’ve seen the end of it. There’s nothing to stop more suits, more blackmail, more extortion. It’s all in the open, right there to be viewed and investigated.
Before Trump’s term is over he will personally pocket billions, through brazen criminal acts, and get away with it.

“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.” ― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

I think that could very well blow up in their bloviating faces. Pete is so eloquent and quick on his feet.

Can’t be stated enough. Along with all the other intelligence and NatSec agencies. That doesn’t excuse the AnkleGrabber party or it’s voters…but those agencies failed at the easiest level. This all happened in public and on TV…it wasn’t some sneak attack or something that caught everyone by surprise like massive Russian cyber-attacks or Saudis smashing airliners into the WTC.

From the Washington Post article that was referenced above in the MM.

A career official tried to undo Trump’s purge at USAID. He was then purged, too.

“On Thursday, Trump’s directive resulted in the shutdown of one of the world’s most trusted warning systems for detecting the outbreak of famine, FEWS Net, which received $60 million from USAID last year, said two U.S. officials familiar with the matter.”

This is akin to shutting down NORAD,
The North American Aerospace Defense Command because you have a beef with the Canadian PM.

I just hope the crickets I’m hearing from Dems as Repubs are destroying our democracy means they are holed up somewhere putting together Project 29 with a plan to swiftly arrest, jail, and swiftly mete out justice to all those who have enabled Trump by following orders in this assault on America (and I mean the traitorous 5 on the Supreme Court as well). When Dems finally get back into office, there must be, and be seen to be, immediate and brutal justice for America. No Merrick Garlands, no 2 years to trial, no every motion briefed for 6 weeks, just swift and certain justice like we dispense to most other low level criminals. Even if they are jailed for jaywalking, each enabler must be jailed, even if Trump’s Supreme Court means that Trump walks free. If Dems are not prepared to fight back for democracy in this manner, it’s over.

Our system of government doesn’t really give us many options other than stern letters to our representatives who, if they’re GOP, don’t care about low priority plebes and are united in their malefaction, and if they’re Dems don’t have the votes. The supremes and half the judiciary are corrupt. There aren’t a lot of legal options.

Can anyone explain the attacks on the FDIC and what that means for people who have savings? What is their endgame, if not to find ways to relieve me of my life savings?

Guillotines would be a solution I tend to think fitting, but worst case scenario perhaps torches and pitchforks? Just spitballing here.
