That’s where the Laken Riley (sp?) Act comes in. As I understand the law, all you have to do is accuse one in any of those categories and they are subject to immediate deportation. Consider the wand waved

I think you aren’t taking into account the outright hypocrisy and lack of any ethics by any elected or appointed republican that will allow them to do whatever the fuck they want. There are always exceptions and loopholes.

But will they “Build Back Better”?

Or avoid that because that is(was) a Biden plan.

Far-right influencers and conspiracy theorists used the wildfires that ravaged California this month to attack efforts to stop the planet from heating. Similar disinformation was seen in Spain after deadly floods struck Valencia in October.

How many of those “far-right influencers” are paid by money originating from the oil and gas industries?

Ok he’s E-O’ed Section F protections for federal employees. Say he cans 10k bureaucrats, where is he going to find enough MAGA shitheads with experience to actually replace them?

The wheels are grinding to a halt. It will all be performative meaningless declarations.

Trump ‘very surprised’ by Murkowski, Collins votes against Hegseth
President Trump on Friday said he wasn’t expecting Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Susan Collins (Maine) to vote against his controversial nominee for secretary of Defense: Army veteran and former Fox News host Pete Hegseth.

“I was very surprised that Collins and Murkowski would do that,” Trump said.
Backing off??
Trump also defended Hegseth when asked if he was concerned about his confirmation process.

“Look, whatever it is, it is. He’s a good man. I don’t know what’s going to happen — you never know in those things. But, Pete’s a very, very good man. I hope he makes it; I hope he makes it,” the president said.

Well at least TMF is burning some bridges with the crypto-bros:

nvestor Nic Carter, a guest at the ball, told Politico that the $TRUMP launch was an “absolutely preposterous” move that was “plumbing new depths of idiocy.” (As he wrote on X: “Trump rugged all of his biggest fans by dropping his memecoin during the crypto ball when we were all sloshed.”)

“Plumbing new depths of idiocy” should become the motto of this clown show.

Because lawsuits. And the R’s in Congress will probably want certain asylum categories protected like Cubans.

I think he’ll go after the low-hanging fruit first, the 60% that are here without being in one of the temporary legal status programs. Easier to shove them on a plane without some pesky judge interfering.

Eurogarchs are jealous of Trumplandia.

But few executives were convinced the EU can match that energy. “I heard the EU talking about the willingness to make changes,” said the chief executive of a European bank. “The truth of the matter is every time they do something they create more bureaucracy, more complexity. They need to have a huge reset.”

Nicolai Tangen, the boss of Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, the world’s biggest, recently returned from a month in New York with no doubts about the strength of US “animal spirits”.

“There is less regulation, less red tape, more speed, more enthusiasm,” he said. “At the same time, you are not seeing any of the same things in Europe. I love Europe, but there isn’t too much showing there.”

The wealthy men of business and property are all the same. Fuck regulations that protect society in favor of maximum growth and profit.

They’re being somewhat premature in their envy, I think.

I doubt most would be replaced, but to the extent that any are, being a maga shithead will be the only experience the replacement needs.
