The Trump Campaign Is Suing Over Mail-In Voting — And Promoting It To Supporters | Talking Points Memo

Regarding the Trump Dept. of Justice’s attempt to act as defense counsel for private citizen Trump’s civil tort liability, I am astonished at this development, but I anticipate an immediate proliferation of statements from Professor Tribe et al. squelching any arguments in support of this unbelievably corrupt move.

Trump’s chances of winning the popular vote are now around 1 in 6, and falling. That means that if you depend on Donald Trump for your government-sponsored job or are a supplier of services to the Trump campaign, you are more than likely to be unemployed or stiffed on your invoices. It would seem that the one person with the greatest interest in making sure Trump is reelected is Keith Schiller, Trump’s bodyguard who makes $200,000 a year just for keeping his mouth shut.

So how easy, I wonder , will it be for states to keep it straight if folks vote both ways?

Ah, that intoxicating aroma of Aqua Velva and cat piss!

I’ve so far received four spam texts from the GOP urging me to put in for a mail-in ballot, latest one just yesterday, purporting to be from the orange freak himself. I’m sure replying to these things is useless or worse—their algorithm probably just puts you on the list of live marks so you get even more of 'em. Still it’s hard to resist sending back a message noting their hypocrisy and telling 'em to take their wanna-be Putin and go fuck themselves.

Which apparently includes me, since I’ve gotten repeated spam texts from them. Actually it tells me their lists must have a LOT of noise in them, as there’s no way my cell phone # (!!!) should be on one. I almost never enter that info on a form except for medical/pharmaceutical notifications, and I sure as heck wouldn’t do so in an interaction on any kind of political forum or news outlet, even one I DO agree with. Supposedly their social media targeting is laser sharp and best in the bidness, but that’s not what this behavior suggests.

These people are a bunch of mental cases. The fact that Trump can win even a single state is an appalling thought.
