Abstinence, supply-side economics, and peace through unilateral military strength: three zombie ideas the GOP will never abandon despite decades of evidence to the contrary.

The Trump Admin’s New Teen Pregnancy Plan

oxymoron? farcical? intentional impregnation?
a bit creepy that they have “plans” for “teens”

It is also fundamentally bizarre - given that a significant portion of the zealot MAGA cult believes that "Planning " of any sort - and any form - - prevention - or even - enhancement of chances (fertility drugs … IVF) is a “SIN” according to their religious beliefs and it is their intense intention to inflict their strident religious beliefs on the entire population of the US - and the world -

Importance of marriage??? WTF??? Someone should ask Donnie (and KegBreath) which of his (their) marriages was important??? Abstinence and prevention??? How does one prevent an orange, fat slob from grabbing a woman by the p_ssy?

Boy, if there’s one thing teen girls really want to do, it is to get down there and take their mucosa temperature twice a day.
This is not going to go well.

girls can learn about abstinence only. But it’s not as important for boys.

They’re wilfully trying to turn this country into some stoneage nation.

Let’s get those girls barefoot and pregnant, that’s how we’ll replace all the immigrant labor! The rhythm method or nothing?

Is that really what the magabros want for their daughters?

I guess we’re really mislabeling these morons. They’re not so much fascists as the Taliban. The billionaires, the Rick Scott’s and Ron DeSantis’s and what not, yeah, they’re, at best, fascists, but the rest, the foot soldiers and back benchers, they’re American Taliban thru and thru.

The rhythm method… if there was any real effectiveness to it - it is an absolute certainly that there would be a fierce movement to denigrate it & thwart its practice! It is a form of defying God & belligerently exercising “free will”

They will scream … the urge to procreate must not be willfully resisted!

It is all freaking fundamentalist demented lunacy. Shades of various historic cults!

I don’t think we should expose school children to controversial ideas like artificial birth control.

Or their children, either.

Evidence based? Let’s try that. Let’s compare the pregnancy rates of those teens who contact crisis pregnancy centers with those who contact Planned Parenthood. And the birth weights of their babies. And the number and duration of their marriages.

I feel things will change once courts start ordering child support payments on careless 18 year old males.

Can be both

Surely, you jest.

I dont see “accountability of fathers” as an issue of this administration.

Of course.

It’s funny not funny, but for a lot of religious folk, with their new fangled texts foundationed by the Old Testament, they seem to lean more towards the stone age text in their behavioral proscripts than anything else.

Why, I just don’t know.

This suggest.that 5heir true pregnancy prevention program is as follows: Deny access to.conraceptives so.that teens become pregnant which automatically prevents them from getting pregnant again for nine months. Republican genius.
