The Los Angeles GOP put out a statement saying “no fraud, it takes time because they verify every vote is eligible. Wait for it.”
Point to that and say “even the Republicans agree.”

LePage wins Maine Republican nod in key US House battleground
June 9 (Reuters) - Former Maine Governor Paul LePage won the Republican nomination on Tuesday to run in the state’s 2nd Congressional District, U.S. media projected, setting up a November contest in a race that could help decide control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
The district, which covers much of Maine’s forested interior, is considered a key battleground and one of a handful of competitive seats likely to play a decisive role in determining the balance of power in Congress.

If the rules governing our democratic systems, the very machinery set up by the Constitution to make us a country governed by the people for the people, must always find procedural legitimacy by catering to the lowest common denominator of stupid, disinformed people DELIBERATELY DISINFORMED BY THE MOST DISHONEST PARTICIPANTS, then the system is a race to the bottom and has failed. Period. There is no point in pretending to have a democracy based on free and fair elections if the legitimacy of its rules and procedures must always be determined based on an alternate reality intentionally woven by the very people who seek to undermine that legitimacy to tilt the playing field. It’s circular, a feedback loop that ends with no democracy at all, and the shit coming out of of the mouths of fuckwits like Kavanaugh is nothing but sophistry designed to get us there.
These are the same corrupt FedSoc KKKlergy who will issue KKKristofascist fatwas yammering endlessly about the importance of our elections appearing to have integrity and reliability while they destroy the appearance of the judicial branch having any integrity and reliability by taking overt bribes from plutocrats in the form of high-end camper vans, lavish retreats to billionaire resorts and millions of dollars in kickbacks laundered through a spouse by firms and attorneys with business before the SKKKOTUS. It’s a hypocritical shell game of the highest order and the Calvin Ball bullshit is just another factor guaranteeing that this all inevitably ends with pitchforks and torches instead of ballots.

Last time I looked the Constitution says the states are responsible for elections. California has decided that all ballots post marked by Election Day and received within seven days shall be counted.
The NYT has an editorial this morning stating ballots received after Election Day should not be counted. WTF. I checked to make sure I hadn’t hooked to the WaPo.
