The racism is rampant and it’s becoming more and more obvious by the day.
Problem is, a good quarter of the country is also racist and I may be under-estimating that number by orders of magnitude. Yes, I know we elected Obama, twice, but that’s an anomaly. Try to put a POC or a woman up for Pres and watch what happens.

I was an artilleryman in the Army and served alongside some fantastic women. The men who groused about “weak” female colleagues were the off-putting variety who never maxed their PT tests. They also never had the gumption to say anything to women’s faces, but would gossip and whinge behind their backs. Everything Hegseth has done as Secretary of Defense is what those bozos dreamed of doing if they’d had the chance.
It’s a lot like the female athletes who complain about and grift off of transgender competitors. It’s never the girl/woman who finished first or second. It’s always the one who came in fifth or seventh or failed to advance to the final heat. America is choc full of resentful mediocrities who adore the soothing comfort of bigotry.

They can’t stand the competition.
But it’s always been that women have to work twice as hard to get half as far. Today, the door closed on female officers in the military. This isn’t a glass ceiling anymore - it’s a locked safe door and women are on the outside.
