It's simple: the people KNOW that redistribution PROMOTRES inequality rather than reduces it. Crap like the progressive income tax or social security or medicare: from the many, to the few, and to the well off few at that.
Please tell us how the people KNOW that redistribution PROMOTES inequality rather than reduces it. Please tell us how FREEDOM helps reduce inequality. I would agree that political sanity where political policies promote progressive tax policies rather than regressive tax policies. Let's give an example here. If I make $117,000.00, I pay SS tax on this total amount. If I make $1,000,000, I just pay SS tax on the $117,000. This is a major contributor to income inequality. If my income comes from interest and dividends, I get taxed at the capital gains tax rate which is much lower than earned income. This adds to inequality. How about the mortgage interest deduction on expensive homes and in some cases second homes? How about capital expensing for those that can afford to use this huge tax advantage? Before Obamacare (ACA) dividend and interest income was not subject to Medicare and Medicaid taxes. Did this promote inequality? WilCare
