His bankruptcy and money judgments against him should have made it impossible for him to own any electronics (short of an ankle bracelet).
Also, I agree he has the right to stand on a soapbox (though how can he afford even that?), but WHY IS ANYONE LISTENING?

Bradley was a SEAL. I know folks like to focus on the video-game aspects of what they do, and their training certainly includes lots of ways to make people dead and buildings rubble.
But you know what else a SEAL learns? Planning. Meticulous, detailed, scrupulous planning in preparation for a mission. Their contingency plans have contingency plans.
Ain’t no way a full Admiral like that wasn’t going to have every single step of that operation documented.

I personally have seen exactly zero information that would let me draw conclusions about whether ADM Bradley is or is not MAGA.
But I suspect that even a MAGA four-star is going to take one look at how things are playing out in the politics and the press, and – for anything lower than one Flynn on the raving lunatic scale – go full “nope nope nope not me!” CYA mode.
You don’t get four stars on your shoulder without having at least some clue about politics.

When I was young, I was part of an AARP group that was allowed to visit the White House at night to see the Christmas decorations. We boarded a bus at Lafayette Square and rode into the grounds, walked through the rooms that someone had spent so much time designing and setting up. Even for a cynical young person, it was a lot of fun. But at least Gabby wouldn’t have to deal with that frippery, as the previous guy took out all that East Wing silliness.

Actually I would like to pay for health care in France, as would most of my expat friends. We only feel it fair, so I not only don’t mind, but would sleep better for it.

A couple years ago my daughter went to France with a with a group of girls from HS. One of them got sick and was taken to the hospital upon arrival, she had an emergency appendectomy that Monday and was able to rejoin the group activities by Thursday, she was charged 75 euros.
The thing is that the girl’s father had made an effort to pay for her daughter’s trip, but it paid for itself, because if the surgery had been in the US he would have been in the hook for the deductible, that would have been almost as much as the cost of the trip.
But yeah, the US Health Care System is the best of the world and those of them commie Europeans suck.

In the early 90’s I flew to England to study printmaking for a semester. I carried on a tool-roll full of Japanese woodblock chisels. When I was entering through customs the security was - like you CAN’T carry those on the plane. I said - look I was told to carry on my most important items, and without these I cannot make art.
- Yeah on the way home I checked them.
