Bless their ‘hearts’. The Trump Administration pulled ‘protections’ and accountability PROBABLY to screw with Obama but then when the police acted out they blamed to CITIES for not taking care of their people. It’s like they think up a narrative and then make it so. Truly heinous POSs.

If only President Obama had been wise enough to encourage police violence.

There’d be none under the current Badministration…

The Justice Department, she added, “looks forward to hearing about the progress of the pilot program as the rest of the months go on.” At that point, however, the pilot program had zero volunteers and was functionally dead.

“Functionally dead” is this administration’s goal for most of us, I’m afraid.

Almost a full day and they are still not giving any information about the shooting in Salem… I guess if they manage to keep it quiet for a few more hours then the shitshow of the debate will suck all the mdeia attention and they will be able sweep it under the rug.

I can see where cities would find it very difficult to hire police recruits if beating and abusing suspects wasn’t one of the perks of the job.

You forgot “excited delirium”, or is that only reserved for black males?

Never a good sign when the police are slow walking the details like this. Makes we wonder if South Dakota’s attorney general, Jason R. Ravnsborg, was out there visting relatives.

That, and driving while black…

WTF Are all our cops crooks? (rhetorical question)

After reading the report what becomes apparent to me is trumper wants his kind of law and order.
What we as citizens end up with is unrestrained policing and community disorder.
Trumper destroys everything he can and calls it fixing problems.
In truth he is gutting our Democracy as we watch in horror.

Or bemusement. What are graveyards for if not whistling?

No, but their is widespread corruption.

And with police departments (and their unions) opposing even minimal oversight and accountability, the public is left to treat all police officers as suspect until proven otherwise. To not do so is risking your life.

Cold …cold…heart…

Takes a lot of practice.

With a new AG there could be a whole slew of contempt citations coming down.

So yes minority hostages. A deputy shot an undetermined amount of rounds inside the house. The suspect shot himself. So yes another case of overeager Rambos that just want a excuse to shoot their and don’t really care who they shoot. And as long as the victim is not white they will get away with it.

Does “an undetermined number of rounds” mean he reloaded? Because otherwise it should be easy to figure out.
