The problem is either partially or wholly, the focus of the questions was derailed, even if for a moment. If the person who is being questioned wants to address a potential fault on the part of the questioner, please make room at another time for that to happen. But what he is doing is deflection, creating questions on the integrity of the questioner and attempting to manipulate the process away from its purpose.
In allowing that to happen, she looked defensive and ceded some of the eminence she holds in this context. It was an unforced error in managing the process. Again, this is management 101 in dealing with hostile and antagonistic employees. It is going to happen. Avoid it or work out how to step past it. Warren could be an axe murderer, but if her work in context is correct and free of blood letting in the process, there is no negating the weight of the questioning and authority.

No. Make sure your long arms are either .556 NATO or .30-06, and your handguns are .38, .45ACP, or 9mm. Ideally, have one of each.

The KR murdered 2 million, especially anyone with any kind of education – like teachers. People lied about their occupations to survive. Evidently eliminating intellectuals is another play in the playbook of emergent authoritarian governments. They’re the people who lead resistances. History rhymes.
